Print on Your Own Garments

Controlled customer-supplied garment pilot

Print on Your Own Garments

Already have the garments? Start online before bringing them to the studio. We check garment compatibility, collect your item manifest and artwork, show decoration pricing, and provide the applicable drop-off instructions. Production begins only after your garments are counted, inspected, and accepted.

Open artwork customizer See accepted garments and pricing

The artwork customizer is open for preview. Paid ordering, garment drop-off, and production remain closed while the pilot price floor, intake, and release controls finish verification. Do not bring garments until DTFATL sends accepted pilot instructions.

Eligibility first

Is this service right for my order?

Generally eligible

New, unworn, unwashed cotton T-shirts with a clear care label and an accessible, flat print area are generally eligible. New standard cotton/polyester blends may also qualify.

Needs review or testing

Dark or high-polyester blends, performance garments, nylon, coated, water-resistant, stretch, sublimated, previously decorated, delicate, high-value, or obstructed print areas require review. Some garments cannot be safely printed.

Not accepted

We reject wet, dirty, strongly scented, contaminated, infested, damp, pet-hair-covered, or biohazard-exposed garments. Worn or washed garments are rejected by default. Fire-resistant, arc-rated, PPE, and safety-certified garments are rejected by default.

Decoration-only pilot pricing

Price the printing—not another garment

Ordinary intake, counting, and handling are included. Pricing is per style and design. The applicable minimum is enforced automatically when the verified pilot checkout opens.

Names, numbers, oversized prints, art service, sorting, individual bagging, rush service, and shipped garment intake are not available through this self-service pilot.

Controlled handoff

How the pilot works

  1. Check compatibility. Provide the garment brand/style, fabric, color, quantity, condition, value, print location, and needed date.
  2. Build your design. Preview one standard front or back placement in the dedicated customizer. Upload print-ready artwork only. Add to Cart is disabled during release verification.
  3. Review price and terms. Review the decoration total, spare guidance, risk summary, and production-clock conditions.
  4. Book and prepare drop-off. Sort garments to match the manifest and pack them in a sealed, labeled container. Loose bags and unsorted mixed jobs are not accepted.
  5. We count and inspect. Check-in records receipt, not final production acceptance. DTFATL verifies the count, documents visible issues, and sends an acceptance or action-required notice.
  6. Approve any exception. Resolve any short, mismatched, damaged, heat-sensitive, or obstructed item before production.
  7. Production and pickup. Printing starts only after every release condition passes. Wait for the Ready for Pickup notice before visiting the studio.

Before you drop off

  • Garments are new, unworn, unwashed, clean, dry, and free of odor, pet hair, and contamination.
  • Care labels are attached and readable.
  • Items are sorted by style, color, and size exactly as entered.
  • Each container is sealed and labeled with the order number.
  • Required or recommended spare garments are included.
  • The declared replacement value and purchase evidence are accurate.

Spare guidance

  • For 1–23 pieces, bring one extra garment per style when the exact completed count is essential.
  • For 24–47 pieces, bring 2% extra garments, rounded up, with at least one spare per style and color.
  • DTFATL returns every unused spare with the completed order.
  • If a supplied garment fails and no spare is available, the completed count may be short.

Timing and pickup

Needed date: Your date is a request until DTFATL confirms an eligible production estimate. The production estimate begins only after payment requirements, usable artwork, accepted garment intake, and any required test approval are complete. A drop-off receipt does not mean the garments have been accepted for production.

Pickup: Wait for the Ready for Pickup notice. Customer-supplied garments are local drop-off and local pickup only during the pilot. DTFATL returns completed garments, unused spares, and any documented damaged garment with a final count.

Start with eligibility—not a drop-off

Review the garment rules and pilot pricing before preparing anything for the studio. An online submission and a drop-off receipt are not final production acceptance.
